Nescot has become one of Further Education's success stories as they progress towards being recognised as outstanding. In January 2016, Ofsted rated Nescot as Good in its first inspection since 2010. Teaching was considered as ‘consistently good’, that students ‘enjoy being at the college’ and praised the progress made at the college since the last inspection in October 2010. Nescot’s financial position was described as ‘impressive’, and it was said that the college is responsive to external changes and has a ‘strong capacity to improve’. The inspection says that “Since the previous inspection, governors and senior leaders have ensured that Nescot continues to provide education and training of a consistently high quality,” and that they “have sustained, and built upon, an ambitious culture in which both staff and learners are expected to do their best.”

Nescot pride themselves in being able to offer courses which meet the educational needs of students, and in giving you the freedom to develop as an individual. The College offers progression routes at all levels and to Higher Education courses in conjunction with Kingston University, University of Greenwich and BTEC.
