We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative AAT Tutor to join our well established, successful and growing team. As an AAT Tutor, you will take a key role in the delivery and development of the College’s newly formed Centre for Professional Development, the new umbrella brand for a suite of nationally recognised, quality professional programmes, and ensure that students are having the best experience possible at the College. You will be committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning, and strive to maximise learner success, achievement and retention. The post will be based between our fantastic sites at Flemingate, Beverley, St Mary’s Walk, Bridlington, and St James, Hull.
Applicants must have experience of delivering AAT Level 2 and AAT Computerised Accounts Level 2, and have recent and relevant teaching experience. Experience of working with accounting apprentices would also be useful. Recent commercial experience would also be desirable.
Ideally, the successful applicant will possess a relevant AAT level 3 or equivalent business related qualification, a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE), or be willing to work towards this, and hold or be willing to gain Level 2 (or equivalent) Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.
This is an hourly paid post, on a part-time basis, with working hours and days to be agreed.
